MacPhail Family Wines was originally established in 2001 as the inaugural producer of Pinot Noir from Toulouse Vineyards in 2002.
The brand was sold in 2011 to The Hess Collection, then purchased back in 2024 by the original owners and winemakers, James and Kerry MacPhail.
Their dedication and passion for crafting only world-class Pinot Noir for over 30 vintages is known through a number of wine brands made by James throughout the state of California.
Re-launching MacPhail Family Wines and crafting Pinot Noir again from the very first vineyard source from 2002 brings back legacy, history, family, and nostalgia to one of James’ favorite places for making world-class Pinot Noir—Anderson Valley.
