Your #1 Harvest in Wine Country Recommendation: Anderson Valley Harvest Tidrick Celebration Weekend

This two-day celebration is your chance to get up close and personal to celebrate the local bounty of food and wine during the fall harvest season. Here are a few highlights that await you:

• Get pump(kin)ed up at Weatherborne Wine! Fall in a slice – heirloom pumpkin, grown in our garden, topping delicious wholegrain flatbreads with shallots, sage and brown butter sauce. Local green salad as a side- perfect with their Chenin Blanc. Library Pinot Noirs will also be enjoyed plus a game of washers, Winemaker Cris’s favorite 80s hits on the radio, and trivia for those interested! Nothing but Bahl Hornin (good drinking) at Weatherborne Wine! 
• Let’s “Tidrick” at Husch Vineyards. Boarch (enjoy again in Boontling) complimentary wine tasting and fun discounts. Rare self-guided tours of the Fratty Shams (vineyards) will be available throughout the weekend. As a bonus, take with you a jar of Husch spice mix to add to your favorite Gorms (food).
• On Saturday, Meyer Family Cellars will be preparing savory wood-jeffered (fired) pizzas to pair with a  flight of hand-crafted wines. Winemaker Matt will be on hand for cellar tours and stop by the aviary to meet our newest addition to the family, our baby Peacock. On Sunday, taste barrel samples of harvest bounty, enjoy a flight of newest releases, and stay for a game of bocce or a round of disc golf.
• At Foursight Wines, enjoy mushroom sliders paired with estate-grown Pinot Noirs. Meet winemaker Joe & 4th generation Kristy Charles, as well as Barney The Bee, the mascot for their brand new Mendocino Lavender Farm, and maybe get a barney (Boontling for hug or smooch) from your loved one too!

• Visit Maggy Hawk for chef-curated mushroom trio paired with Maggy Hawk Pinot Noir from the newly released 2021 vintage next to library wine from previous vintages. Pick up the buckywalter (telephone) to make a reservation.
• Bee Hunter Wines will offer samples from their full 25 wine current releases & featuring Pinot, Chardonnay, Syrah, & Zinfandel magnums as an extra bonus! Winemaker Andy will fire up the BBQ, with all dietary restrictions represented. Deek (view) the yellow moche (car) for some bee-happening fun!
