Originally known as the Alsatian Varietals Festival, the event honors a rich 18-year tradition of showcasing expressive white wines in the enchanting setting of Anderson Valley, Mendocino County.

How do I participate in the Sunday Open House Passport program?

Participating wineries offer a mix of reservations and walk-ins, but we strongly recommend booking in advance—especially for popular wineries or seated tastings.

Can I buy wine at the event to take home?

No. Due to licensing regulations, wine sales are not permitted at the Grand Tasting. However, you can purchase wines directly from the wineries during the Sunday Open House, online, or at trusted retail partners like Disco Ranch or Bottle Barn.

Will there be transportation or shuttles available?

There is no public transportation in Anderson Valley. The best paid option is Tour Mendocino, which offers two private shuttle vehicles. Reserve early if you plan to use this service, as spots fill quickly.

Is lodging available nearby?

Yes—but accommodations are limited in Anderson Valley. We recommend booking early, or considering stays along the nearby Mendocino Coast, just 45 minutes away.

🍽️ Dining note: Restaurants in the valley close early. Book dinner reservations ahead and keep snacks on hand for late-night cravings.

Is the event accessible?

Yes! The Fairgrounds venue is ADA accessible, and complimentary parking is available on-site and streetside.

Can I bring my child or pet?

  • The festival is 21 and over. Only babies in arms will be permitted.
  • No pets allowed. Certified service animals are welcome, but the space may be crowded and loud.

What happens if it rains?

The event is held entirely indoors, so weather won’t affect your experience. The white wines will be flowing rain or shine!

Will there be refunds if I can’t attend?

Sorry, all ticket sales are final. Please plan accordingly—and we recommend purchasing travel insurance if you’re visiting from out of the area.
