A COVID Silver Lining
This March, we realized the 23rd annual event would not be able to happen. This event weekend is arguably our most favorite time of the year as we love to welcome and share our valley with so many familiar and new faces. As a way to continue our shared connection around Anderson Valley Pinot Noir, we declared May as #AVPinotMonth to celebrate Pinot all month long and every year!
Throughout May we are featuring our Pinot producers via:
- An Introduction to Anderson Valley Masterclass
- Weekly storytelling on our website
- Online experiences
- Special wine offers
- Giveaways (one click enter to win here!)
- Various YouTube uploads
- Daily social media posts and videos on Instagram and Facebook
- We designed #ThePinotGame and you can win two all-weekend-passes for next years Pinot Fest
We are also auctioning off this year’s original artwork, now a collector’s items for the event that never happened. Gerald Reis is also selling his prints. Both are serving as a small fundraiser to our non-profit winegrowers association, which has lost a significant portion of our annual income from the event cancellation.
Our Collective Connection is Strong
While we miss seeing everyone we are glad we all are collectively taking the precautions to be safe. We dream of the day to see you again and look forward to celebrating life, community and our combined love for Anderson Valley Pinot Noir next year! Thank you for your continued support to our family-owned producers, both small and large.
