The Anderson Valley is becoming a haven for pizza connoisseurs as wood-burning ovens become the must have accessory for wineries. There is no denying that pizza makes a party better and these wineries are not only jumping on the pizza oven train but creating new and creative recipes to pair perfectly with their wines. And, really, who doesn’t like to play with a pizza recipe….nothing can go wrong with dough cheese and whatever sauce and fixins you throw on it…..can it?

Yes, Anderson Valley residents developed a language about a century ago that allows locals to communicate without the bright lighters (city folk) knowing what they were saying.
