Experience Lula Cellars Winery & Tasting Room
Lula Cellars is located in the “Deep End” of the Valley and is the last wine tasting experience you can enjoy before you drive into Navarro and towards the rugged Mendocino Coast. They are a small boutique wine producer making only 4,000 cases annually. They focus on both estate and Anderson Valley designate Pinot Noirs, but also make wine from many single vineyard offerings from the greater Mendocino County. Wines include Chardonnay, Gewürztraminer, rosé, Zinfandel, Cabernet Sauvignon, and red blends.
Fun, Friendly Atmosphere!
The tasting room has a reputation for being one of the most “fun” tasting rooms in the valley. Some might think it is a result of being the last stop after a day of tasting, but you will soon find out that it is the wit and charm of the hospitality professionals you’ll spend time with that really establish the memorable vibe.
Great Photo Op!
While the entire staff is incredible, we especially enjoy the lighthearted nature of the tasting room manager Dan Reed. Reed, a former lawyer and part owner of Lula, is witty and welcoming and will do his best to try and SWAG you up. He has a very cool 1959 Morris Minor British car you can snap a picture in front of. When he is not at the tasting room can be seen around the valley with his newest dog Kepler. Speaking of dogs, Lula Cellars is a dog-friendly winery. Most of Anderson Valley is dog-friendly actually.
You can see all of the wineries who welcome fur friends on the AV Tasting Room Map. Don’t forget to plan ahead and make your reservation to visit Lula Cellars.
