The Former Alsace Festival Returns…
Join us at the 2025 International White Wine Festival for a unique event that is the only one of its kind dedicated exclusively to celebrating the beauty and diversity of white wines and sparkling.
The Grand Tasting will feature around 40 wineries from Northern California and special wines and guests from around the world, each offering their finest white wine selections. Guests will also enjoy an array of gourmet food bites, crafted to pair perfectly with the wines, alongside the talents of local musicians. On Sunday, wineries will open their doors and welcome guests to dive in a little deeper.
February is a magical time in Anderson Valley, with spring flowers beginning to bloom and bright green hillsides creating a stunning backdrop for a weekend of wine exploration. Whether you’re a seasoned wine lover or new to the world of white wines, this festival is an unparalleled opportunity to discover, taste, and celebrate white wine & sparkling in one of California’s most picturesque settings.

- The International White Wine Festival isn’t just another wine event—it’s a celebration of white wines in a way that no other festival offers. While red wines often steal the spotlight, this festival is dedicated to showcasing the versatility, complexity, and sheer beauty of white wines. Originally, the Alsatian Varietals White Wine Festival, this event carries on a beloved tradition. Here, in the enchanting Anderson Valley, you’ll experience firsthand why white wine deserves a permanent place at your table. This event is a must-attend event for any wine lover.
FAQ
- The February white wine event weekend (formerly known as the Alsace Festival & White Wine Weekend) is in its 18th year, however, only 15 years has the internationally-focused festival occurred.
- White wines from within Anderson Valley and from outside of the wine region will be featured. Special guests from around the world will be invited to pour.
- The VIP Early Access is from 11 AM-12 PM, and offers intimate opportunities to meet the producers and sample special bottles exclusive to the VIP hour. A special chef offering will also be included at this time.
- A branded crystal glass will be provided for you to take home with you.
- Local gourmet bites to pair with the wines will be prepared to accompany the wines.
- Event will be held indoors at the Mendocino Fairgrounds. Parking is available and there will be ADA access for those who need it.
- Event will be indoors – rain or shine. Sorry but we cannot issue refunds.
- Lodging is limited so book now in Anderson Valley or on the nearby Mendocino Coast.
- Plan dinner reservations ahead, and make sure you have extra snacks in your fridge because restaurants close early.
- This event is 21 and over, and only babies in arms will be permitted.
- The space may have some crowded areas, and dogs are not allowed.
- Complimentary parking is available at the Fairgrounds and streeside.
