2026
Friday, June 12th 8:30 am – 12 pm
Mendocino Fairgrounds
Join us for an engaging Vineyard Seminar exploring the environmental, technological, and market forces shaping the future of Pinot Noir. This year’s program will feature research on wildfire smoke impacts and wine chemistry, water stewardship and Fish Friendly Farming requirements, salmon habitat in the Navarro watershed, and the economic and legal considerations surrounding vineyard transitions.
Experts will also discuss the current state of the Pinot Noir market and emerging vineyard technologies, including AI-powered monitoring systems that provide detailed vine-by-vine data to support modern farming decisions.
Moderated by Christopher Chen, Integrated Vineyard Systems Advisor for the North Coast region with the University of California Cooperative Extension.
Friday, June 12th, 3:00 – 5:00 pm
Anderson Valley Historical Society & Museum
Step into the early days of Anderson Valley wine at the Anderson Valley Historical Museum with a special conversation led by historian and author Allan Green. Green will moderate a 45-minute discussion exploring the founding of Greenwood Ridge Vineyards and the pioneering spirit that shaped Anderson Valley’s wine community.
Following the discussion, guests will enjoy a relaxed meet-and-greet library tasting with the region’s founding wineries, including Handley Cellars, Husch Vineyards, and Navarro Vineyards. Meet the people behind these historic wineries, taste special selections, and hear firsthand stories from the early years of Anderson Valley viticulture.
Each ticket includes a copy of Allan Green’s book Pioneers of Anderson Valley Wine.

Anderson Valley Brewery
We’re excited to host this year’s Pinot Fest Casual Sunset BBQ at the iconic Anderson Valley Brewing Company in Boonville. Under new ownership, the brewery has quickly become a gathering place for community, live music, and great local beverages—all set on a beautiful property in the heart of Anderson Valley.
As the sun sets, enjoy hearty barbecue fare while wineries pour special magnum selections and exclusive barrel samples for festival guests. In keeping with tradition, we invite attendees to bring a bottle for the community share table, creating a fun opportunity to discover new wines and spark conversation throughout the evening.
With great wine, local beer, music, and the relaxed spirit of Anderson Valley, this promises to be one of the best Pinot Fest BBQs yet. Grab your ticket and kick off the weekend with us.
