Riesling is one of the darling grapes of our region. With only 25 acres planted, both wine geeks and professionals dote over the wines coming from our valley, especially those with some age on them.

Styles range from off-dry to dry, and only a handful of producers are making these wines. With notable stone fruits (like apricot and peach) and foundations of lemon citrus, these wines can range in sweetness (like honeycomb and marmalade). Dessert wines can be made from grapes infected with the noble rot Botrytis cinerea. The resulting wines have a honey-sweet richness buffered with the acidity naturally present in the grapes.
