Tickets are now on sale for Anderson Valley’s 16th Annual Winter White Wine Festival taking place February 18th-19th. Celebrating the rich history of Alsatian wines in Anderson Valley, the White Wine Festival honors that history and highlights the many varieties still grown in the valley.

The weekend kicks off Friday, February 17th, with an industry pruning contest at Roederer Estate. 

Hosting the Grand Tasting at a sparkling wine house, the Anderson Valley Winegrowers Association looks to highlight Pinot Noir’s significance and history in the Valley in making both extraordinary still and sparkling wine. The Grand Tasting will feature approximately 50 producers pouring Pinot Noir, ranging in style from sparkling to still to rosé.

First planted in the 1960s to Alsatian grapes like Gewürztraminer by Husch & Edmeades, Anderson Valley has since welcomed other notable whites like Riesling, Pinot Gris, Sauvignon Blanc, Gruner Veltliner, and Chardonnay. These diverse whites share the spotlight in this festival highlighting the unique viticulture provided by Anderson Valley’s cool temperatures and terroir.

This year, the AVWA is proud to add a new event, the Harvest Tidrick Festival on the weekend of October 21-23. Kicking off the weekend will be a Boucherie Pig Roast dinner on Friday night.
